Ange

Ange

Ange is the joint pen name of the French comics creators Anne Guéro, born on November 24, 1966 in Tours, and Gérard Guéro, born on February 14, 1964 in Clamart.

The name "Ange - Angel" is a portmanteau consisting of the first letters of their first names: Anne and Gérard. This pair of authors is also known as G. E. Ranne (Ger + Anne) and G.-Elton Ranne.

Under these pseudonyms, they ventured rather on the side of the medieval fantasy, as well as in the writing of comic book scenarios, in particular for the artist Alberto Varanda. They also wrote role-playing scenarios, including for In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas and Bloodlust.

They also used this pseudonym to write the science fiction novel for youth L'Œil des Dieux (The Eye of the Gods).
