Cédric Peyravernay
Cédric Peyravernay is a character designer who has lent his talents to numerous computer game companies.
Born in the Loire around forty years ago, Cèdric acquires a passion for drawing from a young age, he himself says that the design, even before school age, was something vital.
He says that while his friends were busy playing football, he invested his days inventing and experimenting with characters. At the age of majority Cédric enrolled in the Emile Cohl School of Art in Lyon, where after four years of study he graduated in illustration.
After the years of training is almost immediately taken in the video game industry, where he immediately learn what it means to work in the entertainment world, testing himself to become a real professional in the industry, learn day after day to respect the times of customer and put himself in relation to his colleagues. In short, a great life experience.
From here however the need arises to see the work from another angle, deciding to leave the job and start working as a freelancer. His basic tools are instinct, his brain and his hands, Photoshop allows him to transpose on a screen what his head creates.
Before turning to digital, Cèdric studied classical painting a lot, thanks to which he learned to develop a greater sensitivity and helped him in the approach to digital tools.
His works include Dishonored, Dishonored 2 and Dark Messiah with Arkane Studios, Horlemonde T1 and a TV series entitled Section Zero, produced by Luc Besson, with EuropaCorp.
