Olivier Vatine

Olivier Vatine studied fine arts in Rouen in 1977, when he met Thierry Cailleteau. Together they made 'Fred et Bob' for Pilote, 'Sam Pulsar' for Fluide Glacial and 'Aquablue'.

Next, Vatine worked in advertisement and animation. In 1991, along with Alain Clément, he wrote his first scenario: 'Adios Palomita', a western illustrated by Fabrice Lamy. Later, with Lamy, he wrote '500 Fusils'. With Fred Blanchard he started working for the American market with the comic 'Star Wars: Heir of the Empire'.

In 1995 he created the series 'Carmen McCallum' with writer Fred Duval and artist Gess, followed by 'Tao Bang' with Blanchard and Didier Cassegrain.
