Professor Moriarty sacrifices himself to stop the ancient gods from coming to Earth. They attract him into their world to take revenge on him. Thus the detective's enemy disappears.

June 1893 : The businesswoman Meredith Rutherford goes back home and has the surprise of finding an intruder she knows well: James Moriarty, back in London after a year of exile. An experience which made him a man even more formidable than he was before.
