Born in 1985, Alain Bardet is a Swiss artist who graduated from the Ecole Professionnelle des Arts Contemporains (EPAC) in Saxon.
Forever seeking new and imaginative ways to tell stories, Bardet switches with ease between comics, illustration, and painting. His work has been exhibited both in Switzerland and abroad, from Genova to Paris or even Shanghai.
Bardet enjoys contrasting figurative and abstract forms, materials, and techniques, with the aim of creating works dominated by emotion.
He couldn't have hoped for better for his graphic novel debut than joining up with François Troukens for Forban, a fast-paced black-and-white thriller published by Le Lombard (Bandit, Europe Comics in English).
