Robin Recht

Robin Recht was born in Bourgogne into a family with a passion for comics and other forms of art.

He studied Decorative Arts in Paris before doing his first artwork for roleplaying games.

He made his first comic album with one of his fellow students, Grégory Makles. This was the heroic fantasy story 'Le Dernier Rituel', that was published by Soleil in 2002.

He was praised for the artwork for his next project, the diptych 'Totemdom', that was written by Gabriel Delmas and published by Les Humanoïdes Associés in 2005 and 2006.

He has also participated in collective projects like 'Vampires', published by Éditions Carabas.

He works with Xavier Dorison and Alex Alice on a prequel to the 'Le Troisième Testament' series called 'Julius' since 2010.

He has also written the script for a comics rendition of the Hunchback of the Notre Dame, that is drawn by Jean Bastide since 2012.
