Valerian Cycle

Valerian Banner

Born from the overflowing imagination of Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières, the characters of Valérian and Laureline - spatio-temporal agents who travel aboard a ship chartered by Galaxity - appeared for the first time in the pages of Pilote en 1967. By its inventiveness and audacity, this series quickly became the absolute reference for science fiction comic readers.

Translated into twenty languages, Valerian was quickly considered as an avant-garde series and inspired many authors and directors including Georges Lucas and, of course, Luc Besson who made a film adaptation in July 2017: " Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets ".
